Schoolgirl drowns; another hospitalised in Rewari

ROHTAK: A Class-12 girl drowned, while another was hospitalised after they fell into a river in Kosli town of Rewari on Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Pooja (18), while injured as Sapna (17) of Murlipur village of the district. Police said the two were returning home from school on Tuesday when they lost control over the scooty. “They were riding on a muddy path along Jawaharlal Nehru river. Due to rains, the path had got slippery because of which they lost control and hit the boundary wall of the river and fell into it,” police said.
