Army recruitment: 207 youths clear first round

HISAR: Out of 1,686 youths registered, 1,268 participated in the ongoing military recruitment camp at Mahavir stadium in Sirsa district on Thursday. “Only 207 youths cleared the first round,” said Colonel R Ranjan, the recruitment officer. “The youths from Dabwali, Rania and Ellenabad villages of Sirsa district came to Hisar for the recruitment. We had got 1,686 registrations, but 1,268 youths participated,” he said, adding, “For Friday, 2,053 youths from Adampur and Narnond villages of Hisar district have registered themselves for the recruitment.”
