L&T Infotech profit rises 35% to ₹236 crore

MUMBAI Newly-listed IT exporter L&T Infotech reported a 35% rise in net profit to

₹235.8 crore for the quarter ended June 30, against ₹174.7 crore during the year-ago period, driven by widening margins. Total income came in at ₹1,593.2 crore, compared to ₹1,386.9 crore a year-ago, while pre-tax profit was ₹299.6 crore versus R216.1 crore.
