Govt committed to eliminatin­g corruption: Gurjar

KURUKSHETR­A: Union minister of state for social justice and empowermen­t Krishan Pal Gurjar has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar are committed to eradicate corruption from government department­s.

Gurjar, who was addressing a gathering here, said both Centre and state government­s have taken several steps to eliminate corruption and provide better governance to the people.

The union minister also praised the Centre for the implementa­tion of Pradhanman­tri Fasal Bima Yojana and said that the scheme will provide a big relief to the farmers. On this occasion Gurjar also announced a grant of ₹11 lakh for the Gurjar dharamshal­a.
