GRANDPARENTS ARE A BLESSING

Apropos the September 29 Innervoice column, “Cherish the time spent with your grandparents”, the joint family system is almost finished. Grandparents allow fulfilment of the children’s moral and legal obligation to care of the elders. They also contribute in the smooth running of a family. They teach us to shun the “eat, drink, make merry” life and improve our karma with devotion. Modern life needs to include them.
