Kejriwal to release trade manifesto in Ludhiana on Oct 23

LUDHIANA: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal will release the party’s trade, transport and industry manifesto for Punjab elections in Ludhiana on October 23.

Party’s youth wing president and candidate from the Sahnewal constituen­cy Harjot Singh Bains said the manifesto would be released at a private hotel on Chandigarh Road in the city at 11am on Sunday. Representa­tives of trade, transport and industry associatio­ns will attend the manifesto release function, he added.

He said party’s Punjab convener Gurpreet Singh Waraich, MPs Bhagwant Mann and Sadhu Singh, party’s election manifesto committee members Kanwar Sandhu, Chander Sutta Dogra and Major Singh will also be present.

After releasing the manifesto, Kejriwal will meet traders, transporte­rs and industrial­ists at Mandi Gobindgarh.
