2 doctors dismissed, two officers suspended

CHANDIGARH: The Haryana government on Thursday dismissed two doctors, suspended two officers and issued show-cause notices to five others, besides taking disciplinary action against them, for dereliction of duty in redressing the complaints received at CM Window.

These orders were issued by additional principal secretary to chief minister Rakesh Gupta and officer-on-special-duty (OSD) to CM Bhupeshwar Dayal during a meeting with nodal officers to review the progress of complaints on CM window here today.

Gupta and Dayal issued termination orders of Dara Singh and RP Sharma, both serving as medical officers at Bhiwani, who faced charges of forgery. The suspension of the regional officer, Haryana state pollution control board, Hisar and Bahadurgarh, PKMK Das, was also ordered for failing to properly deal complaints on the CM window. Besides, block elementary education officer, Panipat, Satbir Saroha was also suspended for not investigating properly the complaint against a private school.
