Tomar is BJP’s Punjab election in-charge

NEW DELHI: BJP chief Amit Shah on Thursday appointed Union drinking water and sanitation minister Narendra Singh Tomar as party’s Punjab election in-charge and Captain Abhimanyu, a minister in the Haryana government, as co-incharge. Party’s general secretary Saroj Pandey will be in-charge of Chandigarh’s local elections. The assembly polls are scheduled in Punjab early next year.
