BJP leader’s son creates ruckus in Sonepat

ROHTAK :Haryana BJP vice-president Kavita Choudhry’s son allegedly created ruckus and tried to run over people with his car after quarrel with a mobile shop owner in Sonepat on Sunday. The incident was caught in CCTV cameras.

By the time cops reached there, the accused had left. After the car was identified, Choudhry came forward in media on Monday and said her son had just defended himself. “He had gone to solve a quarrel and was manhandled. He tried to run away in self defence,” she said. Civil Lines station house officer (SHO) sub-inspector Virender Singh said they had received a complaint from a local mobile shop owner, but he later withdrew it following a compromise. “No one was hurt in the incident. No case has been registered,” he said.
