21 IAS officers shifted, GK Singh is new DPR

DP REDDY HAS BEEN POSTED AS AN ADDITIONAL CHIEF SECRETARY, INDUSTRIES AND COMMERCE; HE IS ALSO ADDITIONAL CHIEF SECRETARY, INVESTMENT

CHANDIGARH :The Punjab government on Saturday transferre­d 21 senior Indian Administra­tive Service (IAS) officers with immediate effect. Gurkirat Kirpal Singh, principal secretary to chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh, has also been given charge of the director, public relations.

Varun Roojam, who held the charge previously, is now Punjab Health Systems Corporatio­n managing director.

Deva Pampapathi Reddy has been posted as an additional chief secretary, industries and commerce. Reddy will also hold the additional charge of additional chief secretary, investment. Satish Chandra has been posted as additional chief secretary developmen­t. Vini Mahajan has been transferre­d as additional chief secretary, housing and urban developmen­t; Vishwajeet Khanna is additional chief secretary, local government; Sanjay Kumar is principal secretary labour; Anjali Bhawara is principal secretary, health and family welfare; Kirpa Shankar Saroj is principal secretary, NRI affairs; Anirudh Tiwari as principal secretary, finance.

Chief electoral officer (CEO) VK Singh has been given additional charge of the Financial Commission­er Corporatio­n, while additional CEO Manjit Singh Narang has been given the additional charge of MD, PRTC.

Similarly, secretary, expenditur­e, Krishan Kumar has been given additional charge of secretary, personnel, cum director employment generation and training. Special principal secretary to CM, GK Singh, has been given additional charge of secretary, defence service welfare, and director public relation.

R Venkat Ratnam has been posted as principal secretary welfare of SC/BC; Rakesh Kumar Verma as commission­er-cum-director industry and commerce.

Hussan Lal has been given the charge of secretary, planning, and the additional charge of secretary, tourism and cultural affairs. Kahan Singh Pannu has been posted as secretary, technical education and industrial training; Shruti Singh as MD Punjab Infotech in addition to director, IT.

PUDA chief administra­tor Ravi Bhagat has been given additional charge of director, town and country planning; special secretary, power and renewable energy, Daljit Singh Mangat has been given the additional charge of special secretary, planning. Sangrur DC APS Virk has been given additional charge as CEO, State Civil Aviation Council.
