VK Singh is Milkfed, coop bank chairman
CHANDIGARH: The Punjab government on Friday appointed financial commissioner, cooperation, VK Singh as chairman of The Punjab State Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation Limited (MILKFED). Besides, he has also been appointed chairman of Punjab Cooperative Bank and Punjab Sugarfed. Singh was Punjab chief electoral officer during the recently held polls.
In another appointment, former PCS officer Daljit Singh has been appointed as OSD to PWD minister-cum-chairperson, Punjab Roads and Bridges Development Board (PRBDB). Member-secretary, PRBDB, Husan Lal issued the order of the appointment made for one year.
Sources said former chief secretary YS Ratra is expected to be appointed as the chairman Pungrain. Even as chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh has cleared the file of his appointment, final orders are yet to be issued. Ratra had also served as chairman of the erstwhile Punjab State Electricity Board.
ASHISH KAPOOR IS
ADC TO PUNJAB GUV
An officer of Punjab Police Services, Ashish Kapoor, has been transferred and posted as Aide –de Camp (ADC) to governor of Punjab V Singh Badnore. Kapoor, who was working as superintendent at Amritsar jail will replace Raj Bachan Singh Sandhu, who emained ADC to governor for more than 10 years. Kapoor had also served as SP (City) in SAS Nagar.
