ExLPU student, Nigerian held with 58 gm heroin

JALANDHAR: Police have arrested a former student of Lovely Professional University and a Delhi-based Nigerian on Friday. Accused have been identified Pankaj of Kurar village and Butter Nnaman Enugu of Nigeria. Additional deputy commissioner of police D Sudarvizhi and Sadar station house officer (SHO) inspector Gurpreet Singh said that on April 24, police nabbed Deepak Atil, elder brother of Pankaj and recovered 3gm heroin. Police then arrested Butter and Pankaj, and seized 58gm heroin from them. The Nigerian had allegedly come from Delhi to supply the drug to Pankaj, who was selling the drug for ₹3,000 per gm after buying it for ₹1,500 per gm.
