Qadian was working with Powercom department in Batala. On Thursday late evening, she, along with her son Pushap Pal, was going to Qadian; as they reached near Dhariwal Thind, some unidentified vehicle hit their scoter resulting in on the spot death of the two. Police team, led by assistant sub-inspector Jhirmal Singh rushed to the spot and sent the dead bodies to Civil Hospital Batala.
