FM radio in SGPCrun college from next month

ANANDPUR SAHIB: A community FM radio station set up at Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee-run Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, Anandpur Sahib, will formally start functioning next month. SGPC president Kirpal Singh Badungar will inaugurate the radio station. College principal Dr Kashmir Singh said the radio station has already started its trial broadcast. He said the Union information and broadcasting ministry had allowed the education institutions and NGOs to set up FM radio stations for which it provides 75% matching grant.
