ROHTAK: The Bhiwani police on Saturday arrested three-time parole jumper Rahul alias Shashi Pratap, who was convicted for killing Ramesh Masta, former chairman, municipal council, Bhiwani, in 2004. He was absconding since April 12 after he did not show up, and an FIR against him was registered in this regard in Bhiwani.
The police said it was the third time that he had jumped parole.
Rahul’s four accomplices have been identified as Virender alias Pinky, Akash alias Illu, Varun alias Vicky and Manav Sharma. On April 29, they had opened fire at Masta’s son Puneet, who was given police security considering the life threat given to him earlier by Rahul.
