Farm labourers’ protest concludes

BATHINDA: The three-day agitation of three farm labourers’ unions concluded on Saturday with protests at several villages. Punjab Khet Majdoor Union, Pendu Majdoor Union and Zameen Prapati Sangharsh Committee had organised the protests against the state government for not providing debt waiver to agricultural labourers. They said labourers under debt have also been termed as farmers by Swaminathan panel.
