‘Will not acquire land without farmers’ consent’

KURUKSHETRA: Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday said not even a single acre of land in the state will be acquired without the farmers’ consent. “If farmers are not willing to give their land, the government will not acquire it. The state government has already returned 3,000 acres of fertile land to farmers in Sonepat district,” Khattar said while addressing a gathering at Shahbad sugar mill on Saturday.
