Swiss journalist dies of wounds received in Mosul
PARIS: Journalist Veronique Robert, wounded in a landmine blast that killed two of her colleagues in Mosul earlier this week, has died, employers France Televisions announced on Saturday.
Robert, 54, had been operated on in Iraq and then flown back for treatment in France, but died of her wounds.
French colleague Stephan Villeneuve and Iraqi Kurdish reporter Bakhtiyar Addad were also killed in Monday’s blast.
All three were working for production company #5 Bis Productions on a programme for the French news show Envoye Special, aired on public television channel France 2.
