ALIVE UNTIL FOUND DEAD
In the controversy over the ‘status’ of 39 Indians missing in Iraq, it is critical to remember that hope lives on. External affairs minister Sushma Swaraj’s statement in Parliament, “It is a sin to declare someone dead without any evidence,” is a perfect response to the Opposition and part of the media who are questioning her credibility. How can anyone doubt her credibility is beyond me to understand? The Opposition must behave responsibly and work to give some glimmer of hope, howsoever faint, to the relatives of people who are missing. BN Anand,
Mohali the insecurity of the party. The party does not have enough faith in its own members on a simple issue of resisting bribery attempts and voting according to instructions. In a stunning show of irresponsibility and selfishness, the MLAs also have left the state when floods have ravaged part of it. They are holed up in a luxurious hotel instead.
