Police chiefs of 6 dists among 23 IPS, 6 HPS officers shifted

CHANDIGARH: The Haryana government shifted police chiefs of Rohtak, Jhajjar, Panipat, Karnal, Bhiwani and Palwal districts on Tuesday, effecting a reshuffle involving 23 IPS and six HPS officers.

Following the reshuffle, Rohtak superintendent of police (SP) Pankaj Nain was posted as Jhajjar SP.

Hamid Akhtar, SP, State Vigilance Bureau (SVB) was posted as SP, Sirsa, a post lying vacant.

Panipat SP Rahul Sharma was posted as SP, security, Crime Investigation Department (CID).

Sulochna Kumari, SP, Palwal, was posted as Gurugram traffic deputy superintendent of police (DSP). Sangeeta Rani, SP, Rewari, was posted as Panipat superintendent of police.

Rajender Kumar Meena, SP, Madhuban Haryana Police Academy (HPA) was posted as Panchkula DCP. Karnal SP Jashandeep Singh Randhawa was posted in Rohtak on the same post.

Waseem Akram, SP, CID, was posted as Palwal superintendent of police.

Ganga Ram Punia, additional deputy commissioner (ADC) to governor was posted as Bhiwani superintendent of police.

A Haryana Police Service (HPS) officer, Surinder Singh Bhoria, who was earlier the SP at Bhiwani, was posted as Karnal SP.

Ashwin, SP, security (CID) was posted as SP at state crime branch.

Sukhbir Singh, DCP, crime, Faridabad, was posted as SP, telecom (H), Panchkula.

Ashok Kumar, commandant, 1st Battalion HAP Ambala, was given additional charge of SP, national highway (NH) traffic.

Sumer Partap Singh, SP, telecom with additional charge of SP, law and order, police headquarters, Panchkula, was posted as superintendent of police , law and order, police headquarters, Panchkula.

Kirt Pal, DCP, NIT Faridabad, was posted as SP, State Vigilance Bureau (SVB). Vikas Dhankar, who was awaiting posting, was made AIG, provisioning.

Vinod Kumar, commandant 2nd Battalion HAP, was posted as SP, State Vigilance Bureau.

Shiv Charan, SP, SVB Hisar, was posted as DCP, Ballabgarh, with additional charge of DCP, NIT Faridabad.

Rajesh Duggal, commandant 2nd IRB Bhondsi, was posted as Rewari superintendent of police.

Panchkula DCP Manbir Singh was posted as SP, SVB.

Virender Kumar, DCP traffic, Faridabad, was given additional charge of DCP, central, Faridabad. Ashok Kumar, SP, NH traffic, Karnal, was posted as commandant 2nd Battalion HAP Madhuban.

DK Bhardwaj, additional SP Sonepat, was posted as commandant 2nd IRB Bhondsi.

Mohit Handa, Panchkula ASP was posted as ADC to governor.

Among HPS officers, Bhupender Singh, DCP, central Faridabad, was posted as SP, CID.

Mohinder Singh Sethi, Gurugram ACP, was posted as Manesar DCP.

Rajiv Deswal, deputy superintendent of police (DSP), Gohana, was posted as additional SP, Sonepat.

Vijay Kakkar, DSP, Sirsa headquarters, was posted as additional SP, Sirsa. Rajesh Kumar, DSP, Ambala, was posted as additional superintendent of police, Ambala.
