Harsimrat opens skill development centres in Bathinda, Mansa
BATHINDA:UNION minister for food processing Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Saturday inaugurated two skill development centres, each at Bathinda and Mansa, under the PM Kaushal Vikas Yojana as part of the Centre’s pilot project launched in around 600 districts in the country to train youth in skill development.
The Bathinda MP said the scheme would give a big boost in training the country’s youth for trade occupations and enable them to get self-employment as well. The centre at Bathinda will have eight batches of 30 students each in trades like metal welding, computer operator, CCTV operating system, micro irrigation, bakery and hair styling. The course duration is three months in each crash course.
