Parrikar cannot sign files fearing secondary infection: RTI reply
PANAJI: Goa chief minister Manohar Parrikar, currently undergoing treatment for an ailment in a US hospital, can’t sign government files due to risk of infection, an RTI petitioner said, citing official documents. City businessman Kenneth Silveira, who obtained the memo signed by Parrikar through the RTI Act, has filed a complaint with Goa police’s Crime Branch claiming signing of government correspondence and notings by secretaries to CMO instead of Parrikar was illegal.
