Man held for murdering uncle in Rupnagar

RUPNAGAR: A Santpur Chupki village resident, Kulbir Singh has been arrested for murdering his uncle, Daljit Singh, 55, using a spade at his house on May 2 over a property dispute. Rupnagar SSP Raj Bachan said, a special team led by DSP (investigation) Varinderjit Singh was constituted to investigate the case. He added that a gang of chain snatchers had also been busted with arrest of two members — Daljit Singh alias Prince of village Agampur near Anandpur Sahib and Balwinder Singh alias Bindu of Dher village near Anandpur Sahib.
