Tributes paid to Nawab Jassa Singh Ahluwalia

Kapurthala: Thousands of people on Sunday paid rich tributes to Sikh warrior Nawab Jassa Singh Ahluwalia on his 300th birth anniversary. A large number of residents thronged the gurdwara here to attend the ‘kirtan darbar’ organised to commemorate the birth anniversary of the city’s founder. On the occasion, Nawab Jassa Singh Ahluwalia Memorial Trust honoured more than 40 prominent persons.
