SUKHOO HITS OUT AT JAI RAM GOVT

HAMIRPUR: Himcahal Pradesh Congress chief Sukhvinder Singh Sukhoo on Sunday blasted the state government over the failure of its security agencies on various law and order issues in the state.

“The present government has failed on all fronts and it was due to the lack of vision of the rulers. A government that failed to save the life of its officers from the hands of goons had no moral right to continue and quit forthwith,” Sukhoo said while addressing people at Kashmir village in Hamirpur district. Sukhoo said just by transferring the SP and other officers from Solan, the state government could not be absolved from this vital issue that had rocked entire nation. While quoting the statement of Kangra MP Shanta Kumar on Kasauli issue, he said Shanta’s statement had proved that illegal construction was done in the know of the government. He demanded a high-level probe into the reports that a group of BJP leaders had helped the killer to raise illegal building.
