PM opens digital art gallery in Sonepat
GALLERY SET UP BY THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY AUTHORITY OF INDIA AT A TOLL PLAZA IN JAKHAULI VILLAGE
ROHTAK: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated a digital art gallery of the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) at a toll plaza in Jakhauli village of Sonepat district before moving ahead to inaugurate the Eastern Peripheral Expressway in Baghpat.
At the main entrance of the gallery, Modi viewed the map of Kundli-ghaziabad Palwal (KGP) Expressway and saw how the KGP and Kundli-manesar-palwal would come out in the national capital Delhi and national capital region (NCR) area.
Later, the PM went around the digital art gallery where he was informed in detail about the journey of the KGP Expressway, right from the inception of the project till its completion by using 3D technique. This included acquisition of land for the expressway, redressal of grievances related to farmers, beginning of ground work on the expressway, strategy for the timely completion of work, technique used in the construction work, use of solar energy, plantation and benefits of the expressway for the people of Delhi and other areas. arlier in the day, the CM had breakfast with state toppers of Class 10 and 12 board examinations during his visit to Jind.
While encouraging the students, Khattar said, “If our goals are determined and we work hard for it, we will definitely achieve success. Kartik of Class 10 and Gumeet of Class 12 had topped Board exams.
