PANWAR: SUSPEND ROADWAYS DRIVERS USING PHONES WHILE DRIVING’

CHANDIGARH : Taking a serious view of Haryana Roadways drivers using mobile phones while driving, the Haryana state transport department has issued instructions to suspend them immediately.transport minister Krishan Lal Panwar said here Thursday that with a view to ensuring the safety of the public, the department has issued directions to all general managers to suspend the drivers found guilty of using mobile phones while driving and file charge-sheet against them. The decision comes in the wake of two videos that had gone viral in which roadways drivers were seen using phone while recklessly driving bus, a few weeks ago.
