DEFENCE MINISTRY REJECTS CHARGES IN BRIBERY CASE
NEW DELHI: The defence ministry on Thursday junked allegations that Indian officials were involved in a bribery case relating to the purchase of spares for the Indian Air Force’s Antonov-32 planes from Ukraine. “There are no allegations against any Indian government official,” said a defence ministry release. The ministry was reacting to a news report that claimed that Ukraine was investigating bribery allegations in an Indian contract for spares for the AN-32 planes.
