Man ‘gambles’ away wife, watches her being raped

BHUBANESWAR: Police in coastal Balasore district are on the lookout for a man who allegedly gambled away his wife and watched her getting raped. The victim alleged that her husband, who works in Hyderabad as a labourer, reportedly staked her in a gambling game and then let her be raped when he lost. The woman alleged that on May 23, her husband asked her to accompany him to the village pond where her neighbour sexually assaulted her in front of her husband.
