New building rules to be notified soon: Bajwa

CHANDIGARH: Punjab housing and urban development minister Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa on Tuesday said the new building rules, which were approved by the cabinet and will be applicable throughput the state, including outside municipal limits, would be notified shortly and made available for general public. He said the new relaxations will boost the real estate market and economy. Under the new rules, a developer could purchase unlimited floor area ratio (FAR) for group housing, commercial, public office, hotel and industrial buildings.
