MUKTSAR FARMER CONSUMES POISON IN FRONT OF COPS

MUKTSAR: Tension prevailed at Thandewala village on Tuesday when a farmer consumed poison in front of police officials in Muktsar. He was rushed to a hospital where his condition is stated to be stable. The victim, Ramdas Singh of Thandewala village, alleged that police were favouring persons who were trying to grab his land. Farmers also raised slogans against police.
