ACID ATTACK VICTIMS TO GET ₹8K MONTHLY AID

CHANDIGARH: Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar has approved a scheme for providing monthly financial assistance of Rs 8,000 to female acid attack victims in the state. Minister of state for social justice and empowerment Krishan Kumar Bedi said that woman and girl acid attack victims would also be given preference in the allotment of fair price shop by the food, civil supplies and consumer affairs department in case they applied for the same after having recovered.
