Verma wins bronze in World Cup archery

SAMSUN,TURKEY:COMPOUND archer Abhishek Verma beat Korean Kim Jongho to win bronze at the season-ending World Cup Final. Verma partnered Jyothi Surekha Vennam to win silver in the exhibition compound mixed event. from Haryana grabbed seven out of 10 gold medals on Day 2 of the U-23 National Wrestling Championsh­ips. UP, Maharashtr­a and Chandigarh won a medal each as all 10 women booked their tickets for the U-23 World Championsh­ips, starting November 12.
