Focus on health care
Heading a country, with more than 1.3 billion citizens, is no duck soup. If I were to be the prime minister of India, my top three priorities would be health care, skill development and sports.
Our country has substantial health care resources, but they are not optimally utilised. In rural areas, people still lose lives due to lack of basic amenities. We need to correct this by improving medical facilities and living conditions. Also, I will try to make rules and policies for private hospitals in big cities so that they don’t exploit people.
Keeping in mind India’s low literacy rate, I will try to ensure that every child goes to school and every government school has latest technologies. Also, every school should have skill-development courses which can help create jobs. We have the world’s richest cricket body — BCCI — and some of the biggest cricket stadiums, but this is only limited to cricket. The story is not the same when it comes to athletics, hockey, football, etc. Our country has no dearth of talent. I will try to provide world-class training facilities to help budding talents in all fields. India is a democratic country ruled by the people. If I become the PM, I will have to work hard. Dealing with economic problem will be my first priority. To find a solution to this issue, I will pay attention to economic and social development of people living in rural areas. Focus will be on improving their standard of living as only then India can move ahead. Rural areas will be equipped with schools, dispensaries, roads, houses, electricity and water. I will also look for means of employment to improve their economic status.
India is a country with vast natural resources. My efforts will be to use them optimally for the benefit of people.
The industry and agriculture depend upon each other. Development of agriculture will improve the condition of industries and also of people.
As the PM, I will seek cooperation of fellow ministers in performing my duties. I shall advise the president on crucial matters and improve relations with other countries. I will also try to make country’s defence stronger for the security of the country. The first thing I will do is to provide a better education system for all. Education is a process of facilitating learning and holds the power to determine future of the country.
I will make education purposeful. More stress will be given on practical learning. Schools will have good infrastructure, well-qualified teachers and good syllabi to develop the young mind. This will ensure that well-educated young children become responsible and independent adults.
The next thing I will do is to provide better health care for each and every citizen of the country. Hospital will be equipped with best facilities and qualified staff. Medicine and other health care will be available at affordable rates and economically backward will receive free treatment. Healthy families will help build a healthy nation.
My next priority will be to make the country strong and independent. I will work for welfare of mankind and strive to bring about a world where war, violence and suffering are not the solution. Given a choice, who does not want to become the PM of India! If I become the PM, I shall strain every nerve to make India plentiful and prosperous.
Once I take the charge of piloting the destiny of India, I shall focus on ‘equality’ of education for all. I shall remove privatisation and bring government schools into the mainstream. I will also try to introduce an ideal education system, bring equality of status and provide equal opportunity for all. No reservations!
Secondly, I shall make India an efficient manager of its waste so that we can use scrap to lessen the burden on our natural resources. This is important up to reduce stress on nature because it will certainly enhance our economy. Moreover, this concept will help to make the country clean.
Thirdly, I will shun luxurious life and keep a check on other ministers. The service of people will be my true service. Social inequality will not be tolerated. I know that the work of PM is not a child’s play, but I will take responsibility of solving problems at the grassroots level.
