Putting environment first
JASHANPREET ARORA,
If I were to become the PM, my three priorities would be to change the education system, protect environment and reform health care.
I realised that there was a need to change our education system when I once interacted with students of Class 7 who were unable to define democracy.
This showed how our education is focused on rote learning. This is why I believe that reform in the education system is the need of the hour.
Twenty years from today, we will have headlines like hike in prices of fresh air and a month of dust storm. I will make environment destruction a punishable offence. I read an article which stated that 71% The winners will be felicitated at a special award function. of deaths in India happen due to unavailability of timely medical attention. Even in the 21st century we have not been able to provide basic medical facilities to all parts of the country.
We lack in some basic things like awareness regarding health, proper communication system, competent doctors and medical staff. I will try my best to work on these issues to improve our health care sector.
For me, these three things matter the most because not only will they shape today but also have an impact on generations to come. Now is the time to take necessary steps to make the country a better
living place. Class 7 kids tell us what they want the government and private sector to do to ensure greater representation of women in top-level jobs
