ROHTAK:A 16-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped by four men in Rohtak on Thursday, the police said here.

The girl was accompanied by a man from Bihar to Tilyar Lake on Thursday, when two youths from Rohtak’s Bohar village, after consuming alcohol at the lake, took her away and raped her in bushes.

The police said the two youths called up two more men from their village who then too raped the victim.

The three have been identified as Vipin alias Monu, Pravesh alias Sonu and Neeraj alias Neetu — all residents of Bohar village in Rohtak. The police said their fourth accomplice is on the run and will be arrested soon.

The police have also arrested the Bihar man, identified as Ajay Kumar, and he is being interrogated.

Meanwhile, the police said the victim was handed over to her family after conducting her medical examination and lodging her statement in front of a magistrate. She originally belongs to West Bengal and had been living here in the city with her parents.
