He removed D’arcy Short for a golden duck and Chris Lynn for 14 in his opening over to trigger a wicket slide. Glenn Maxwell was Australia’s topscorer with 38 off 23 balls but his knock couldn’t help the hosts avoid a defeat.

Shakib returns for first Test versus West Indies

DHAKA: Skipper Shakib Al Hasan returned from injury as Bangladesh on Saturday named a 13-man squad for the first Test against West Indies, starting in Chittagong on November 22. Pakistan get Indian visa for hockey World Cup

KARACHI: Pakistan hockey squad is finally set to fly to India for the World Cup after clearing the visa and sponsorshi­p hurdle that threatened its participat­ion in the mega event beginning November 28. Not only did the Indian High Commission issued visas to the players, the new sponsors have also released nine million Pakistani rupees to cover the team’s expenses in the tournament to be held in Bhubaneswa­r from November 28 to December 16. Sixteen nations are competing in the showpiece event.
