BARWALA (HISAR) : The family dispute in the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), has turned the dal (party) into ‘dal-dal’, claimed former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, addressing a rally at the start of the 7th phase of Jan Kranti Rath Yatra from Barwala town of district Hisar on Sunday.

“The countdown of the BJP in the state and the centre has started. Youths are jobless, farmers are dying due to debt, businessmen are facing problems, government workers are already on road, if this is BJP’S development, then I must say people must uproot such a government,” he added. “Under the BJP, Haryana has become number 1 in crime against women. Now, bijli is gull (unavailable), but the bill is full,” he said, and reiterated his promise of providing ₹3,000 oldage pension. “If the Congress is voted to power, the government will start providing one pink and two green (one Rs 2,000 and two ₹500 notes) as old age pension.

Rohtak MP Deepender Hooda said, “The state has been burnt many times in the name of religion under the BJP. The brotherhood of chattis biradari (36 communities) has been torn apart. Did the people elect the BJP government for such a result?” Hooda added that if the Congress was voted to power, Rs 3,000 old-age pension will given, electricity tariff will be halved and stipend would come for the jobless. “We will also eradicate crime,” he added.
