HOPE WE WILL BE ABLE TO STOP KOHLI: CAREY
SYDNEY: Australian wicket-keeper Alex Carey said they are hopeful of snapping Virat Kohli’s good form in the four-match Test series. “He obviously played really well tonight - he was put under a little bit of pressure towards the end but they started well in the powerplay and it was hard to peg them back,” said Carey after the third T20. “Hopefully in Tests, it will be a different story - we’ve got some good pacer bowlers and Nathan Lyon. It will be a really good summer of cricket ahead,” said Carey. Australia surprised by bringing Mitchell Starc back into the T20I fold. The pacer impressed when he dismissed Shikhar Dhawan and helped slow down the pace of scoring. “He’s a real professional, looks after his body, come off a Shield game and into a T20 game now. I’m just as excited as you guys to watch him take on India along with Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins and Lyon.”
Arthur seeks psychologist to fix Pak ‘pressure’ issue
KARACHI: Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur wants a sports psychologist to work with his players, hoping it would help them overcome pressure situations. Surprisingly, Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed is unaware of how the sports psychologist will work with the team. “I have never had the chance of working with a sports psychologist but If I do only then can I say how the experience is like,” said Ahmed when asked about it. Arthur had said after Pakistan lost the first Test to New Zealand by just four runs, that crumbling under pressure is a big problem.
