INLD may split in many parts, none of it will survive: Hooda

- HT Correspondent

ROHTAK : Former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Saturday said the residents of Haryana will not vote for anyone associated with the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) as the party’s self-serving agenda has been exposed to the public. Hooda was commenting on expelled INLD leader Dushyant Chautala’s plan to announce his new political outfit on Sunday.

“INLD kitne bhi mukhote pehen kar logon ke beech aye..par iska har mukhota bekanab ho chukka HAI…(INLD may split in any number of parts..all of it is exposed, and none of it will survive till the upcoming 2019 elections),” Hooda said. He was addressing a press conference at his residence.

“I had said this three years ago that INLD was not an opposition party but the B-team of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Now you can see how both of them (Abhay and Dushyant) are accusing each other of working hand in glove with the BJP,” Hooda added.

The former CM said the INLD has not made even one contribution as the prime opposition party in Haryana in the last four years.

“They started jail

Give me one name of any INLD leader who went to jail during their SYL movement. INLD will be reduced to nothing very soon. BHUPINDER SINGH HOODA , former chief minister

bharo andolan for SYL canal. Give me one name of any INLD leader who went to jail during their movement. INLD will be reduced to nothing very soon,” he said. Calling for action against BJP minister Manish Grover for his controversial speech wherein he offered guns and money to voters for the upcoming MC elections, Hooda said politicians such as Grover and Abhay Chautala should give speeches across Haryana so the people could themselves throw them out of state.

Hooda said the MC election results will show the BJP that their time in the state was limited. On BJP mocking the Congress for not fighting the elections on party symbol, Hooda said he did not need to comment as the results will come be out in another two weeks.
