He added, “From past 12 years, despite several vacancies in the physical education department, unemployment has remained a constant factor.” Kohli alleged that Soni was running from promises on the name of code of conduct and panchayat polls. “Is the code of conduct only for unemployed teachers who are demanding jobs promised to them,” he asked.

Slamming the Congress government over increase in salaries of legislators, Kohli said, “The government makes regular claims that they do not have enough money but now they increased salaries of MLAS.”HTC JALANDHAR: Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) and Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) teachers on Sunday held a state-level meeting at Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall here and carried out a protest march to press their demands of regularisation.
