CONG INVITES KEJRIWAL, HE SENDS AIDE

NEW DELHI: In an indication of a thaw their relations, the Congress has invited Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal to the swearing-in of its party leaders as chief ministers in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisga­rh on Monday. Kejriwal’s media advisor confirmed that the AAP has received the invitation, but said, “the CM won’t be able to attend the functions. Senior AAP leader and MP Sanjay Singh will be attending the oath taking ceremonies”.

BJP spokespers­on Mukesh Pareek, however, said, “Congress knows that it is not capable to compete with BJP so is seeking support of other parties considerin­g the next year’s Lok Sabha polls.”
