THREE PATIENTS RECOVER

CHANDIGARH: Three Covid-19 patients admitted in Haryana hospitals were discharged on Monday after they tested negative in subsequent reports.

While one is a Gurugram’s Sector-83 resident, another man is from Panipat’s Model Town. The third patient is a woman from Panipat’s Naultha village.

With them, the number of recovered patients has reached nine.

Of the total cases, 10 have travel history to the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, Indonesia, Malaysia, Dubai and Nepal. However, the history of latest two cases from Sirsa and Hisar is yet to be ascertaine­d.

Among them, 16 are women and eight men.

Data available with HT reveals that eight from them contracted the virus from 10 foreign-returned individual­s. The remaining four, including a Gurugram doctor, self reported to the medics and were admitted to isolation wards of hospitals.

Coronaviru­s positive patients housed in isolation wards of government and private hospitals include a woman from Panipat’s Naultha village, one from Panipat’s Model Town, another from Sonepat’s Sector 14, a Panchkula woman, a Faridabad’s Greenfield Colony woman, four women from Gurugram’s Sushant Lok, Sector 9 and Palam Vihar, and two from Sirsa and Hisar.

A male patient from Patiala is still admitted in Ambala civil hospital while a Palwal’s Moti Colony resident is housed in an isolation ward of local civil hospital. One man from Faridabad’s Sector 37 and another from Sector 28 are also admitted to isolation wards.
