INDIA’S POLICY FAILURE
India has blatantly failed in its external relations policy that has resulted in China wooing both Nepal and Bangladesh. The Modi government has dealt with the Indo-chinese standoff in an apt manner. Nehru in 1962 and now Modi have acted in the best interests of our country. There had been a demand for retribution in 1962 too but a rash military response will inevitably lead to the escalation of crisis as it would have then. India needs to concentrate on restoration of status quo on its northern frontiers and guard it’s eastern frontiers. Rajiv Boolchand Jain,
Zirakpur can hardly be expected to be accountable for its actions to other nations when the autocracy is not answerable to its own people. It also does not want to declare war as the use of the nuclear option will turn the world into a graveyard with no victors or losers. The border scuffle with India is an attempt to keep the pot boiling and stall India’s development. The only way to take on China is to call for immediate intervention of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and request for the appointment of an observer, if we are confident of our stand.

Arms and other licences should be renewed without police verification or medical examination, by taking only the prescribed fee.
