ROLL BACK VAT HIKE

The Punjab government’s decision to increase VAT on petrol and diesel will lead to a significant difference in prices as compared to the neighbouring states. Petroleum companies have already been increasing the prices for the last five days. The government should withdraw the facility of free cars and fuel being given to bureaucrats, MPS and MLAS. If the privileged have to pay for these products from their own pockets, I am sure the fuel prices will start dropping.
