ROLL BACK VAT HIKE

-

The Punjab government’s decision to increase VAT on petrol and diesel will lead to a significant difference in prices as compared to the neighbouring states. Petroleum companies have already been increasing the prices for the last five days. The government should withdraw the facility of free cars and fuel being given to bureaucrats, MPS and MLAS. If the privileged have to pay for these products from their own pockets, I am sure the fuel prices will start dropping.

Ashok Goyal, Panchkula losing a year of education. The government of I ndia has already unlocked the whole country and restarted trains, flights, bus services, metros, malls, offices, places of worship and markets why not go ahead with entrance tests? The exams will be conducted over five days i n two shifts. AIIMS, too, recently conducted the PG admissions test on June 11, for which approximately 2-lakh candidates appeared.

Kamaljeet Malwa, Patiala the death of 20 Indian soldiers. This is factually incorrect. The truth is that China had moved its troops into Indian territory at Galwan Valley, Finger Area and the Gogra Post. Hopefully, now that the two countries are holding dialogue, China will withdraw its troops from these positions. The Line of Actual Control should remain peaceful.

Devendra Khurana duce our own to push our economic growth. The people must support the government in boycotting Chinese products.
