DINGKO SINGH RECOVERS FROM COVID-19

NEW DELHI: Asian Games gold-winning former boxer Dingko Singh recovered from Covid-19 and returned home after over a month in hospital in Imphal. In isolation for the next fortnight, Singh, who is also battling liver cancer, said he tested positive five times. Singh’s ordeal began when he was flown to Delhi for radiation therapy to treat his cancer. However, he was diagnosed with jaundice and the session had to be cancelled. With flights still not in operation, Singh went back home by road and tested positive after reaching Imphal.
