m sure many of us visited our albums during the lockdown. I too rummaged through a huge pile. Yes, a pile of albums since not only am I a keen photograph­er, but also the one who preserves every frame related to events of my life; and those of my family and friends.

Recently, I received a letter from the director of the Haryana Police Academy, Madhuban, where 37 years ago I was trained having joined Haryana Police. The missive was sent to all police officers of Haryana, asking them to send to the academy, pictures belonging to old times spent in Madhuban, for them to create a coffee table book. The lockdown was the perfect opportunit­y to dig into the treasure of old photos and I found some belonging to the training times, even the one showing me climb a rope of 25 feet vertical length, with bare hands.
