Girl dead, 3 injured in Kaithal roof cave-in

KARNAL: A 12-year-old girl died while three members of her family sustained injuries in a roof collapse in Kasan village of Kaithal district, police said on Thursday.

The deceased is Tamanna and those injured are her father Ram Niwas, mother Babli and brother Sahil (14).

Villagers told the police that the incident took place early on Thursday morning. All four victims were buried under the debris and were later pulled out by villagers, who rushed them to hospital. Tamanna was declared brought dead, while others are undergoing treatment.

Kithana police post in-charge Suresh Kumar said the house was in a poor condition.
