2 BJP WORKERS FROM NORTH KASHMIR RESIGN CITING PERSONAL REASON
SRINAGAR: Two Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers, including a woman, from north Kashmir’s Handwara area, resigned from the party on Thursday. Mubeena Bano, who had recently joined the BJP, is the fourth worker to have resigned from the party since Bandipore district president Waseem Bari was killed along with his father and younger brother by militants at his shop last week. A senior police officer said Mubeena Bano told them that she has resigned due to personnel reasons.another BJP worker, Bashir Ahmad Thokar from Handwara, who had joined the party last month, has also resigned.
