HIGHEST 1-DAY RISE IN GUJARAT WITH 960 CASES

AHMEDABAD: Gujarat on Saturday reported 960 new Covid-19 cases, its highest single-day surge, taking the count to 47,476 while fatalities rose by 19, including 10 in Surat, to 2,127, state Health department said.surat reported the highest number of 268 cases, taking the total count in the district to 9,973. With 199 cases in the day, Ahmedabad’s tally has mounted to 24,163, the department said.
